Fandom Notes/Prompts
Secondhand Lions: Walter Caldwell, Garth McCann, Hub McCann
Exception to including all characters directly, with Garth and Hub only present as memories: I’d love a story about Walter and the Sheik’s grandson becoming friends, reminiscing about their elders, striking up some sort of friendly rivalry/contest in their honor, or collaborating on some sort of other memorial project
I'd also love everyone alive and well! Some prompts:
- Missing scenes on the farm
- Garth and Hub telling Walter more stories about their past
- Jasmine scaring off unwanted visitors
- Jasmine just being a big playful kitty and winning over the uncles
- Milestones in Walter’s life (the uncles helping with (or grumbling about) Walter’s schoolwork, showing up to his art shows, helping him move into college/move out on his own, intimidating his classmates/friends)
- Shenanigans of the uncles where Walter is either along for the ride or trying to mitigate risk/consequences
Sonata for Harp and Bicycle: Jason Ashgrove
I really love how pragmatically Jason deals with the curse and the haunting. I’d love to see him (either alone or with Miss Golden) tackle other ghostly situations - helping ghosts find their peace and/or finding ways to safely fulfill doom prophecies.
Fandom DNW exceptions: Canon-typical off-page suicide (as long as it isn't Jason or someone he knew personally as alive) and the suicidal compulsion Jason experiences are fine, as are new ghost characters and off-page deaths associated with hauntings/curses
Find Me In Paris: Lena Grisky, Ines Lebreton, Jeff Chase
I love the wholesome friendship vibes and seeing dance used to express oneself and connect with others. I love how excited Lena is about modern things while still valuing/missing some of the things from her original time, Ines’s quirkiness and how readily she just rolls with any of the chaos, and Jeff’s optimism and general energy.

- Getting stuck in a new time period and having to work together to get back
Red Shoes and the 7 Dwarfs: Merlin, Snow White
I love how well this movie balances fun and thoughtfulness. I love Snow’s kindness and determination, and I love Merlin’s adorkableness and how much he grows over the course of the movie. I also love the slow-burn strangers-to-friends-to-lovers and the comedic aspects of sudden height/shape changes.

- Post-canon adjusting to life free from both curses - what takes the most getting used to for each of them, or how have their experiences changed them from who they were before?
- Slice-of-life while they’re living in the dwarfs’ cottage
- Planning their wedding and finding ways to make it personal for them or invent new traditions

A Man on the Inside: Charles Nieuwendyk, Julie Kovalenko
- I love how excited Charles is about the case and his new spy skills, and how much life he finds in both the mission and the community he meets there. I also love his dynamic with Julie and her general vibe of fond exasperation. Emily and any of the Pacific View ensemble also very welcome!

Megamind: Metro Man, Roxanne
I love the hijinks and how normalized/desensitized to supervillainy Roxanne and Metro City seem to be. I’m fascinated by how Roxanne became Metro Man’s presumed girlfriend and the default hostage for villains, and I’d love to see their relationship explored. Megamind and/or Minion welcome in the background.
