Hello and thank you for creating for me! Treats are enabled and welcome!

Some general notes/clarifiers:

• Prompts are always optional! I'm happy to receive anything you think I'd like. Also, for the songs/characters/ships I have less prompting for, it's not that I want them less! I just didn't have as many clear ideas by the end of signups.
• Depicting / ships without overt, on-page romance is welcome! What I'm looking for when I request / is that the characters are plausibly in a relationship or heading towards one. Pre-ship, becoming friends, queerplatonic dynamics, established relationship where they're not doing anything particularly romantic at the moment are all great.
• Depicting a ship I've requested as & with underlying queerplatonic and/or flirty vibes is generally welcome, as long as the characters involved are unrelated and peers (i.e., not canonically portrayed as teacher/student or adult/minor). What I'm looking for when I request & is that the primary focus be on non-romantic, non-sexual aspects of their relationship.
• I struggle to prompt for setting change AUs but I do enjoy many of them, including modern/mundane! There's a few specific ones I love in my general likes but as long as they're not DNW'd I'm happy to receive others.

Song Notes

Heather Dale - One of Us: A song about inspiring others, reflecting on who’s inspired us and being mindful of who might be watching our example. I’d especially love it for any of my combative or minority representation characters.

Favorite lines: "...when fighting got to me", "so I took that step which soon began a start", "we may never stand together in a shield wall side by side, but because of her I lift my sword with pride", "you never know who's watching or how far that story goes"

TobyMac - Speak Life: A song about the power of words and the determination to use it for good. I’d especially love it for any characters who have a focus on kindness/empathy. I think it would be particularly fitting for Ella or for Rosethorn with either of her mentees.

Favorite lines: "Watch them come alive as soon as you speak hope, speak love, speak life", "Words from our lips as the arms of compassion"

 

Kenny Loggins - I'm Free: A song about fighting through life and for the people we love. 

Favorite lines: "If anything's worth my love it's worth a fight", "heaven helps the man who fights his fear"

Owl City - Tidal Wave: A song about hope in the midst of depression.

Favorite lines: "I forget the last time I felt brave, I just recall insecurity", "I don't need a telescope to see that there's hope and that makes me feel brave"

Walk the Moon - Shut Up and Dance: A song about letting go of insecurity and enjoying the moment (and the people in it with us).

 

Steven Curtis Chapman - Your Side of the World: A song about partnership and empathy. I’d especially love it for any of my ships that come from very different backgrounds or viewpoints.

Favorite lines: "Please tell me what you can, 'cause I want to understand", "Paint me a picture of the things that make you smile"

fun. - Carry On: A song about moving forward. I'd especially love to see it for any of my characters or ships who have points in their timeline where they struggle to keep going.

Favorite Line: "May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground"

Scott & Ryceejo - Proud of Your Boy / Reflection: A song of parent-based angst and identity searching, potentially a trans anthem. I’d love it for any of my characters who are queer-coded or have complicated relationships with parent figures. Shipwise I also think it’d go really well with George/Alanna as having backgrounds somewhat similar to Aladdin/Mulan.

EPIC: The Musical - Little Wolf: An underdog fight and mentorship song. I’d love it for any of my scrappy underdog characters and/or any of them that mentor underdogs.

EPIC: The Musical - We'll Be Fine: A song about self-forgiveness and moving forward in friendship.

Favorite lines: "I've never felt strong before", "Maybe to fall is to learn one way"

Aladdin - Speechless: A song about refusing to be silenced. I'd love it for any of my characters who have people trying to shut them down, or otherwise struggle to speak up (for themselves or for others). For Biana in particular, I have a "Scarless" pastiche of this song about her learning to be proud of her scars, so feel free to run with that direction if it inspires you.

Favorite line: "I will take these broken wings and watch me burn across the sky"

Hamilton - Wait For It: A song about indecision and waiting for opportunities to come along. I think it'd be particularly fitting for Finn or Rey pre-canon, or for Finn while he's still trying to find his place in the Resistance.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Something to Sing About: A song about desperately looking for hope in the midst of bleakness and depression and trauma. 

Favorite lines: "Don't give me songs, give me something to sing about", "The pain that you feel only can heal by living"

Brave - Touch the Sky: A song about being and feeling free. I'd particularly love it for any of my characters who spend time flying (or doing flying-adjacent things), or who have a background of feeling trapped.

Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog - Penny's Song: A song about hope in the midst of tough times.

Favorite line: "Dreams are easy to achieve if hope is all I'm hoping to be"

ABBA - Take a Chance on Me: A song about trying to talk someone into a relationship. I think it could be particularly fun/fluffy for George singing to Alanna or Rosto singing to Beka.

Peter Gabriel - In Your Eyes: A song about finding the strength to keep going from connecting with others.

Elton John - I'm Still Standing: A song about fighting through emotional wounds and coming out stronger.

Tracey Chapman - Fast Car: A song about escaping from life circumstances together. I actually know this song from Christian Kane's cover of it so it'd be especially fun to see for Eliot.

Goo Goo Dolls - Iris: A song about wanting to be seen and understood, by one person if not the world.

Favorite line: "When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am"

James Arthur & Anne Marie - Rewrite the Stars: A song about fighting to make a relationship work. I'd love for a work inspired by this one to be ultimately hopeful rather than resigned. Fandomwise, I think it'd be extra fitting for Star Wars or KotLC because of how prominently stars feature in canon.

Favorite line: "No one can say what we get to be"

Phil Collins - You'll Be in My Heart: A song about the people we love staying with us. I'd especially love for any of my characters who are grieving or ships that include a character who struggles with fear of abandonment.

Tortall
Alanna/George: I love how accepting George is of all of Alanna's facets and complications, and I love their friends-to-lovers arc.
Alanna: I love her determination and fire and pragmatism, her journey to understanding and accepting herself, and her dynamics with all of her friends. 
Kel: I love her determination and compassion and sense of justice, and seeing how much she thrives amidst all of the obstacles thrown at her. I'm partial to Kel/Dom if you want to write her shipped, but I'm fine with others as long as they don't hit a DNW. 
Beka: I love her determination and sense of justice, and seeing her do her best for the Lower City and also how she copes with her own anxieties I'm partial to Beka/Farmer if you want to write her shipped, but I'm fine with others as long as they don't hit a DNW.

Emelan
The Circle kids: I love this found family, both how they initially grow together and how they eventually reconnect.
Tris, Daja: These two have had to deal with so much but I love seeing them grow and overcome everything life's thrown at them.
Rosethorn & Briar or Evvy: I love Rosethorn as a mentor, prickly but so compassionate and practical.

Leverage
Eliot & Hardison & Parker, Hardison/Parker: I love watching these three work together, learn from and about each other, and just be there for each other in different ways, big or small. Queerplatonic vibes welcome for the trio.
Hardison: I love his ease with people and his consistent optimism.
Parker: I love her autistic representation, how the team treats her people skills as just another skill set to cross-train on, and how unapologetically weird she is. 
Eliot: I love his loyalty and determination (and his occasional southern charm/cowboy vibes).
Harry: I love his enthusiasm and his determination to make his mistakes right.
Breanna & Hardison: I love their dynamics, and would love to see them together while Hardison's with the original team and Breanna's growing up or working (or unwinding) side by side during Redemption. 
Breanna & Nana (& Hardison): I love everything we hear about Nana and I'd love a look into what her foster home looks like.
Breanna & Harry: I love that these two are besties despite how different they are, and I'd love to see them working together and learning from each other, Harry helping Breanna with college stuff, or them geeking about shared fandoms.
Sophie/Harry: I'd love to see these two falling in love on the job, or finding little ways to support each other and help each other unwind. 
Either team: I love seeing them work together, leaning into each other's strengths and weaknesses and just being an incredible team.  

Star Wars Sequel 
Poe & Finn & Rey: I love watching these three banter and work together and look out for each other. Queerplatonic vibes welcome.
Poe: I love his enthusiasm and sass.
Finn: I love how much he just wants to find a quiet life, but his determination to stay and fight where he's needed anyway.
Rey: I love her inventiveness and compassion.

Ella Enchanted - Levine
Ella: I love her spunk and her sense of humor. I also love seeing all the ways she finds to work around the curse, and would love to see more of that or of her enjoying her freedom after the curse is broken. Ella/Char very welcome!
Areida & Ella: I love their dynamics and would love to see more of their friendship, whether that's missing scenes, post-canon, or an AU where they never lose their friendship or get it back sooner. 

Keeper of the Lost Cities
Tiergan: I love him as a mentor, as someone who regularly sneaks off to the human world, and as part of the Black Swan. Exploring platonic, queerplatonic, and/or cognate dynamics with Prentice very welcome. 
Sophie: I love seeing her adjusting to the Lost Cities and trying to figure out what the right path for her is.
Kesler: I love how unapologetically weird he is and I'd love to see more of it. Juline/Kesler and/or Dizznee family dynamics very welcome!
Biana: I love her growth as she begins to make the fight her own.
Sophie & Fitz: I love their cognate relationship and I'd love to see that explored.
Linh & Tam: I'd love to see those two supporting each other and/or more insight into their decision to join the Black Swan.
Tiergan & Wylie: I love these two and I'd love to see them grieving together and/or finding their way forward in the midst of it.
